DANNY ELFMAN is an American composer, singer, songwriter, and record producer. From 1976 to 1995 he was the lead singer and songwriter for the rock band Oingo Boingo.

Following the dissolution of the band, he became one of Hollywood's most distinctive film composers. He is known for his dark, idiosyncratic scores, particularly those he has written for director Tim Burton's films. He is also widely recognized for his theme song for The Simpsons.

His live project, Danny Elfman's Music from the Films of Tim Burton, features suites of music from 15 of his scores, including "Batman", "Edward Scissorhands", "Beetlejuice" and "The Nightmare Before Christmas".

Two shows from a sold-out run at Avery Fisher Hall in New York were filmed for the PBS series, "Live From Lincoln Center" and during post-production, I was asked to supervise the audio mixes with Emmy-winning engineer / mixer, Ken Hahn of Sync Sound.
