World Economic Forum

“In 2002, for one year only, the World Economic Forum, which traditionally holds their meetings in Davos, Switzerland, came to New York City for a week at the Grand Ballroom of the Waldorf Astoria.

Many world leaders, philanthropists and activists came for the sessions, including President Clinton, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Bono, Bill Gates etc.

I mixed the General Sessions and helped the French production company (who were not used to staging the meeting outside their usual venue) to find vendors and choose suitable equipment for the meetings, and also for the opening Gala event, which was produced by Quincy Jones.”

“ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) is the organization that regulates all domain names on the Internet.

They hold three conferences per year, each time on a different continent. I co-ordinated all audio requirements for the conference and was also the co-Technical Director for 3 years, responsible for video, lighting & staging for the General Session and 10 breakout rooms.

Conferences were held in :

Mexico City

San Francisco

There were often challenges in finding enough professional grade equipment in some cities and in finding enough capable engineers to man all the rooms. Much ‘on-the-job’ training took place ...”

Clinton Global Initiative

“For the past 10 years, I have mixed one of the 5 rooms for the Clinton Global Initiative in New York City. Established in 2005 by President Bill Clinton, the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) convenes global leaders to devise and implement innovative solutions to some of the world's most pressing challenges. Each year, attendees make pledges to take on projects in the areas of health, education, debt alleviation, the environment, energy, etc.

This is one of the most prestigious and satisfying events I have ever worked on.”

“Once a year, Sibos brings together the financial industry for a conference to create opportunities for individuals, organizations and the community as a whole. It is a unique forum to meet, discuss, learn, to do business and keep in touch with what is going on in the industry.

Facilitated and organized by SWIFT, (the foremost company handling inter-bank transactions), sessions are held for roughly 8000 attendees in General Sessions and 8 breakout rooms. I have mixed the General Session for an audience of about 5000 for 3 out of the past 4 years, in Boston, Hong Kong & Amsterdam.”
